G West Customs is the custom side of Coyote Creek Hat Co., named after the guy who takes the call, writes the spec, and checks the run before it ships.
Built out of a hat problem.
Coyote Creek Hat Co. started in Houston in 2023 as a branded retail line. We made hats we wanted to wear, put our own mark on them, and sold them that way.
Then the calls started coming in that weren't about our hats at all. People wanted their own logo on the hat instead for a company, a team, a wedding party, or a tournament. At first I treated that as a favor I did on the side.
Doing it well turned out to be a different business. Bulk changes everything: deadlines that can't move, artwork files that have to be digitized correctly, and a hundred small decisions per order (fabric, panel count, closure, thread color, patch placement, inner tape) that most shops just guess at and hope you don't notice.
So the custom work became its own division. Every order runs on the same dealer-grade spec sheet we'd send a dealer, written down and approved by you before anything gets sewn. That's the whole idea: nothing left to guesswork, and one person on the other end of the phone.

Every custom build runs through the same spec sheet we send dealers. Twenty fields, approved by you before production starts. No guesswork, no surprises.
Built for real deadlines
Rush orders are welcome on stock builds. And if your date can't be hit, you'll hear that on the first call instead of finding out three weeks in.
Graiden handles it personally
Not a call center, not a ticket queue. One person takes the order, writes the spec, and answers the phone when you call back.
